Canterbury Chess Wins State Title

Canterbury School's Primary Division chess team (Grade 3 & Under) finished with a perfect 5.0 at the 2022 Indiana State Team Tournament, bringing home the State Title! Congratulations to Team Captain Harvey Hanke, Jayden Chen, Betsy Bolt, Vika Rajaram, and Coach James Dean.

In the Elementary Division (Grade 6 and Under), Canterbury finished in 3rd place.  The team consisted of Benji Joseph, Jackson Monnier, Charlie Bolt, and Henry Liu . The Canterbury B team also competed and finished 18th.  That team consisted of: Cameron Fullhart, Dan Adilov, Jason Zhang, and Vishnu Aluri.  

In the Middle School Division (Grade 8 and Under), Canterbury finished in 3rd place.  The team consisted of:  Gavin Lass, Roshan Raman, Vivek Apuri, and Nicholas Collins.

In the High School Division the Canterbury A team finished in 2nd place and the B team finished in 5th place.  The Canterbury A team consisted of:  Ben Finkel, Sam Liu, Riley McCulloch, Makaio Surendran.  The B team members were:  Xander Dressler, Devon Lewis, Parker Schimmele, and Ashton Dressler.
